This IKEA Therapist Wants To Solve Your Relationship Problems

Comedian Tyler Fischer — get to know this name because he is one of the funniest people around — recently went to IKEA undercover pretending to be a Swedish couples therapist, checking in on couples while they were shopping.

If you’ve ever been to IKEA, or similar stores like Bed Bath & Beyond, HomeGoods, or the like, you may have noticed that it’s essentially filled with a bunch of couples fighting with each other about what they need or don’t need for their home.

Says Fischer, “In Chinese [IKEA] means very bad hell-torture maze.” And you thought you were just in the market for a cheap bookshelf.

Fischer has been doing these kinds of pranks for years, and they just keep getting better and better. For similar videos, check out his other videos, including one of our favorites where he pretends to work at Whole Foods.
